Week 46 of Felt Evolution's Felt Inspiration Merino Color Challenge - 365 Days Of Seeking Color Inspiration Everywhere (Even In The Most Mundane Of Things)

Sara Smelt

Week 46 did not disappoint in terms of color and inspiration! We started the week with a breathtaking sunset and discovered a new (to me) artist from the 1700s (!). I saw clearly in neon color, played with colored tiles, indulged in some decadent chocolate with raspberries, had a 'lucky' encounter and finished the week by appreciating more of Mother Nature's colorful plant designs. Enjoy and in this week of indulgence I wish you are your families a very safe and happy Thanksgiving.

In 2017 I challenged myself to seek color inspiration everywhere. I post daily on Instagram and Facebook and give a colorful weekly round up here. I offer all the wool I depict on this website (www.LearnToFelt.com

Week 45 of Felt Evolution's Felt Inspiration Merino Color Challenge - 365 Days Of Seeking Color Inspiration Everywhere (Even In The Most Mundane Of Things)

Well hello there week 45 - this year is drawing to a close awfully soon! This week I started with some alpha-1 anti-trypsin disease awareness. This genetic disease caused my friend's lung function to drop to 14% before she received a miraculous double lung transplant (it's now 135% :). The gene is way more common than people realize so if you are having COPD-type symptoms it's worth asking your doctor about the possibility of it being alpha-1. We took a quick trip up the coast to quirky, colorful Capitola, then enjoyed the jewel tones of some fizzy kombucha homebrew. Over the next 2 days we traveled to Mexico to admire the captivating artwork of Saturnino Herran and to Chile to meet some lucky piggies! A colorful quote was followed by some floral celery to close out the week. It was a diverse week in terms of color and inspirational topic!

Week 44 of Felt Evolution's Felt Inspiration Merino Color Challenge - 365 Days Of Seeking Color Inspiration Everywhere (Even In The Most Mundane Of Things)

Boo! It's week 44! This Halloween week we were spooked by a candy ghost and enjoyed a bountiful harvest of lush berries and Heirloom tomatoes. We took a trip the the harbor and the aquarium, marveled at Nature's creation of the Peace Lily and became connoisseurs of blue! Once again, I sought inspiration everywhere and was not disappointed! I hope you love this selection!
